We got a pretty early start this morning. We are excited to be home but there is also a bit of apprehension. Life will not look the same now that we are retired. When we got to our RV storage we were happy to discover that disconnecting the batteries in our car worked like a charm. We packed my car with a lot of our clothes and other personal items so it would be easier carrying them into the house. Stewie couldn’t wait to get in the house and run around. It was in good shape despite having renters. We began the process of unpacking, found time to go on a neighborhood walk, and gave Stewie a bath- boy was he dirty!!! It feels good to be home amongst familiar surroundings. Not sure where this blog will go from here, perhaps the journey of transitioning to a new life, perhaps it will fade away until the next big trip. Signing off for now.
