Beginning Again

Life happens. Took a 11 day intermission from our planned adventure to venture on the journey of honoring my father who died on July 25th. My dads body gave out but not his spirit. It was cathartic searching for pictures, reminding myself of what he looked like throughout my lifetime. He really was my role model, my hero. The eulogy was harder, how do you capture a persons life in a short speech? Songs, stories, family, friends, lots of love. All very healing. I will never let go but I will move on. flying to Des Moine, Iowa to carry on with our adventure.
