At the recommendation of our friend in Missouri, we avoided taking the Interstate 70 and instead went southwest through Kansas. A lot less busy road but not very scenic. We landed in Meade State Park campground, at the southern tip of Kansas. And what do you know, we found a lake! It is very warm here compared to the other places we have been. We walked around the man made Lake and hunkered down in our RV with the refrigeration on.
