August 30th – Day 44

We ventured into Canada Today to camp in Montreal- at Sogerive campground which is right next to a Ferry pick up. It is in the middle of the city but it is right next to the St Lawrence River so you have a great view. What is really great about it is the convenience father ferry. We took it across the river to the old town Montreal port. Once we started Strolling along Rue Saint-Paul street we immediately felt transported to another country- it feels a little like Paris. We walked to The busy square of Place d’Armes which is very much in the city center. We saw The twin towers of Notre-Dame Basilica and the historic Bank of Montreal. The best part was finding an outdoor pub to have a beer.

  1. Amazing and what a great find. I love that you seem to always find a pub for a beer. And this has now become more of a Country road trip. So happy for you both.
