August 26th: Cornell University to Selkirk Shores

I love visiting old colleges. The architecture is beautiful and grandiose and full of stories and progress. We were out and about when the students were walking between classes: many were zombie like, it was not quite noon yet. When you are in college it doesn’t seem like you fully appreciate the privilege of getting an education and having that be your only responsibility. Cornell has 3 waterfalls on its campus. Lucky dogs! They also make their own ice cream. We splurged and had a scoop—- OMG best ice cream ever!!! We have continued traveling north in New York- Pulaski – we are staying at Shelkirk Shores- we walked on the shoreline path of Lake Ontario. I swear it is an ocean, so massive and it had waves and everything. Stewie had fun chasing a stick and playing in the sand.
