One of the recommended sites to see in this area is Boulder Field. We rode our bikes to the site to better understand what all the fuss was about. At first glance it is a field of boulders but when you read about how it came about it is remarkable. The bottom line is that it was once a bedrock and it turned into boulders. It spans 16 acres. A glacier stopped a mile north of it and because of the nearby temperature, water and location it helped to form this unique landscape. As the literatures states: it is a landscape frozen in time- a relic of the ice age. Nature has a way of showing us about life. No matter how grounded we are, there will always be something that forces us to change, especially with enough pressure over time. Perhaps rather than resist the change we should look forward to the next transformation it has in store for us.
